Center of Disease Control (CDC) says that there are over one third of the US population that are suffering from obesity.  An obese person has more than 30% body fat in their body.  Obesity shouldn’t be taken lightly since it can lead to lots of serious illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer.  Why wait for these diseases to affect you when most of these diseases can be prevented only if you are not overweight.

  2. These would benefit the person since it is specially designed to fit the need of the person, who wants to lose weight.  The doctor can also suggest some exercises that would help you to regulate your eating habit and promote weight loss.
  3.  Other people suffer from some kind of medical condition that could prevent them to do what others are doing.  These doctors knows what they are doing and would not recommend something that would be bad for you.  If possible, they would collaborate with your primary health care physician to be able to develop a program that would be best for you.
Losing weight is not easy and sometimes it can be hazardous to health since most people are just doing the same thing.  They are not consulting specialized person to create the best possible workout for them.
